Why is ivabradine not fda approved?

Ivabradine

From what I can find, the cost to the company making it in France to get it approved in the US would not be worth the investment for them so what I've read doubts it will be presented with appropriate data to the FDA to consider

Is lipozene fda approved is it safe?

No

Fda
Non-prescription medication does not require FDA approval. No one knows if it's safe. And if it actually worked, why do the commercials state in small print "results not typical" under the skinny model who probably didn't use Lipozene in the first place?

Dr. Lorrie Klein answered:

Does FDA approve all cosmetics sold in US?

FDA approved none

Cosmetics
The FDA regulates drugs, not cosmetics. Therefore, a cosmetic manufacturer can make any claim they want and can get away with it, true or not, as long as they don't make medical claims.

Dr. James B. Ball answered:

Is i-131 mibg approved by fda for neuroblastoma?

No.

Neuroblastoma
It seems to have proven efficacy. FDA approval is difficult to obtain, and is not necessary for access to this treatment. There will likely be more progress toward FDA approval when there is more consistency in the timing, dosing and other treatments. But this treatment is readily available in several large pediatric centers, regardless of the lack of FDA approval.

Dr. Ed Friedlander answered:

How come so many drugs fail to be approved by fda?

Many disappoint

Fda
A series of different level studies must show the medicine is safe, that there's a reasonable chance it will be helpful, and only then can a controlled study be done to demonstrate clear benefit. Many new touted "breakthrough" drugs prove terribly disappointing. This is the reality -- there's no magic way to find miracle cures, but I've never believed in dark conspiracies either.
