Regestrone Tablet Avoids Pregnancy
I ve taken regesterone 5mg/day during my pregnancy (march 4to 8th and march 23, 24). Feb 4 was my last period. Will there be any adverse effects?
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

I got my friend which is 17 and we are frm india n she thinks she ll get pregnant so which pill should she take to avoid pregnancy? Reply asap please
Birth control pill: Take her to a doctor or to planned parenthood and ask for birth control pills. The pills are all very similar, and will prevent pregnancy in most cases. The pills will not prevent her from getting a sexually transmitted disease. That's why it's so important to use condoms also! Good luck. Lgromkomd. ...Read more

My first baby is now just eight months old. I had unprotected sex with my husband on the day of ovulation. What pill to take to avoid pregnancy?
Plan B: Plan B is an over-the-counter emergency contraceptive available in the United States to anyone over the age of 18. This will delay ovulation and hopefully prevent the sperm from meeting the egg. The pill contains levonorgestrel, but no estrogen, so it should be completely safe while breast-feeding. There is also a prescription pill called "ella" which works up to five days afterwards. ...Read more
10 days since unproted intercorse. Will 1000mg vitaminc a day avoid pregnancy.. If so please tell me safe pill for vitaminc.. Missed emergncy pill : (?
Oops, too late: None of the "emergency" contraceptives will work this long from possible conception. Vitamin c will not prevent conception, implantation, or the persistence of pregnancy. At this point, all you can do is wait to see if a pregnancy test is positive. If so, then you will have decisions to make about the pregnancy. If not, then please consider using effective contraception from now on. ...Read more

I think I am pregnant. After conception nearly 13 days ago...I took an I pill to avoid pregnancy. But I didn't get period. Till now I haven't got it.
You didn't say when: You took the emergency contraceptive in relation to when you had sex. Levonogestrel pills, are up to 89 percent effective when taken within 72 hours (three days) after unprotected sex ; can reduce your risk of pregnancy by up to 95% is used within 24 hours of sex. Sounds like you are 13 days out from sex (at least I think that is what you mean) ; that you have missed your period. Your 2 pregnancy. ...Read more
I'm 29 My honeymoon 'll be on 13-Jun & my next period will be on 07-Jun. Is Gynera a good birth control pill to avoid pregnancy? How & when to take it
Birth control: First congratulations on getting married. Gynera is a combination pill. Should be started on first day of next period. Need to be on it 2-3 weeks before considered safe to avoid pregnancy, so I would HIGHLY recommend a barrier method of contraception as well until then. Hope this helps. Sorry about the timing with your honeymoon. ...Read more
I donot take contraceptive. We had unprotected sex on second day of my period. Can I take the pill in order to avoid pregnancy during periods?
I had unprotected sex. Bf came multiple times. I'm under Depo-Provera provera (medroxyprogesterone) for 3 weeks now. Should I take next choice pill to avoid pregnancy? Orparanoid?
I would: While Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) provides some protection the first month of use, I usually tell my patients to use a back up birth control the first month. The majority of true Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) failures I see are either unprotected sex the first month or getting the shot late or off cycle. If you were my patient I would offer you Plan B or another emergency contraception in this situation. ...Read more
Yes: One large prospective trial showed that a sulfonylurea pill for gestational diabetes didn't cross the placenta and controlled sugars (used after 11 weeks gestation). The am coll of ob/gyn doesn't fully endorse it, so most physicians use insulin. Data on metformin is retrospective, so I agree with the other respondent that a discussion of these issues with your physician is very important. ...Read more

Can we take hyponidd tablets during pregnancy. AM almost 4 months taking hyponidd and 3 weeks pregnant now?
Not advised: This is an herbomineral formulation that appears to help control diabetes. It is certainly not a formulation that should be taken during pregnancy since it may have many unknown side effects and could represent a threat to the pregnancy. I would strongly advise against the use of this compound during your pregnancy. Please see your OB/GYN and have yourself evaluated so that you can stay healthy. ...Read more

Talk to profesional: Your situation is very difficult. An unwanted pregnancy can cause a lot of distress. Although abortion may be an option, I recommend you discuss it with your doctor or another knowledgeable health profesional so you can weight your alternatives carefully and be at peace with whatever option you take. You must think of your 3 kids, and not jeopardize your health by doing something on your own. ...Read more

Iron, folic acid: Foods that are high in folic acid, iron, and calcium to start are good. NUTS have great minerals. Focus on fruits, vegetables and vary them. I have already 3 times abort with tablets. And again taking is safe for health or not and also if any will occur in future pregnancy. Present 35 days?
Maybe: There are a few different medications used for causing abortions. Without knowing which one you are using, I am limited in my response. Some cause birth defects and change the way the ovaries work. Some doctors think too many abortions may cause difficulties carrying future pregnancies. If you are having sex that much, why not use something to prevent pregnancy? ...Read more

Zin?: Can you provide a generic name for this drug. As always, the less medication you take, the better off you are during pregnancy especially in the first 20 weeks. ...Read more
