Define "total": Please clarify what you mean by "total". I see that you have had CTR. Does "total" mean that ALL THE FINGERS are involved vs the first 3 fingers of either hand? If it's the first "total" then something other than CTS is happening. Given your comment that there is weakness you should see a Neurologist ASAP. Depends: I would like to know where the pain starts. If it originates at the buttock it is possible that the problem could be coming from the back despite not having back pain. My advice would be to get an EMG to rule out a radiculopathy, consider imaging of L-spine and Right Hip, and based on these results decide further tx. Buttock pain could be coming from back, hip or SI joint. Further w/u needed. ...Read more
Unknown for sure: Many of my patients who have angioplasty have mild discomfort after angioplasty for a month. Usually it doesn't last much longer than that though. I think it is from the stent stretching out the artery.
