Eye and fAce swellin: It is hard to tell what is going on with your limited description of what you had done. Was your maxilla or orbit broken and fixed? Please provide a little more information so I could answer the question with more certainty. It is not very normal to have a lot of swelling around plates that were placed for facial fractures.

Only a good eval by-: -a rheumatologist can give you a good answer. You need to see one for hands on eval & lab tests. Some of the symptoms does suggest lupus, but you need an answer, & that is the best way to have the question answered.

How can I help swelling from eye lid surgery go down quicker?

How can I help swelling from eye lid surgery go down quicker?

Head elevation and..: Cold compresses on the eyes. I am not a fan of ice or frozen peas, but a washcloth soaked in cold water and wrung out will work just fine. The blood supply to the eyelids is excellent, so while they quickly swell, they will also quickly resolve with the treatments above.

Hi I had my strabis mus surgery done last week it does not seem to be aligned yet and there is swelling and blister inside of eye I am worried?

Wait!: Strabismus surgery can be hard on the eye! the swelling and also the positioning is quite tricky. There may also be adjustable sutures that your surgeon may adjust. Sometimes it is impossible to fully align the two eyes! Good luck!

Typical reaction: People can have allergic reactions to medication, elements, chemicals, make up, certain fabrics, soap, detergents, shampoo etc. Its typical to have redness, swelling, puffy lids, runny nose, watery eye, rush etc. Just avoid the source and keep the dust and the triggers away.
