Amounts from ethanol by an enzyme variant of alcohol dehydrogenase (seen especially in asian people). Unlikely but possibl: Alcohol itself is unlikely to trigger an allergic reaction although flushing is a side effect. Ingredients in beer may cause allergic reaction. If rash is itchy, this increases the chance that it may be an allergy.
