Red chin. It's been a long time... I did allergy test but it's not it. Dermatologist gave cortisone but as I know it is not really a solution?

Follow Dermatologist: We can not tell you what is it and what treatment you need. You have been examined by a Dermatologist and he has prescribed a cortisone cream. We can not double guess the Dermatogist who already has examined you. You have two choices either use the cream and if you don't trust the Dermatologist get a second opinion by consulting another Dermatologist Read more

My 4 1/2 year old had a lil red bump on chin. Is it possible for a toddler to get lil pimples? It's not pus filled at all..

Younger children: Don't get acne the way a teen or adult does. However, there are other causes for a red bump. If it's still there and becomes crusty or fluid-filled, you should see his/her doctor to make sure it's not impetigo. It could also be an inflamed hair follicle or skin cyst. If it's gone, no worries...unless it comes back. Read more

No; cyclical hives?: With hives, etc. Occurring regularly 2 days before periods you may have cyclical urticaria (hives) which seems to be related to Progesterone level changes with your periods. Stopping birth control pill or if not on one, starting one, may control your symptoms. One case responded to buserelin which works on pituitary to modify hormone release.
