Chalazion (stye): A distinct nodule with tenderness and redness of the lid is often a stye (chalazion). Warm compresses x 30 minutes 2 x/day often helps. Also, 1/2 cup of rice in a knee high pantyhose that is microwaved for 15 seconds (and testing on the skin to make sure it is not too hot) is useful. Could be: Pink eye in general means that you have a severe virus that causes significant itchiness. Blepharitis: You have something called blepharitis. This is most likely caused by a bacterial infection, though non-infectious causes also exist. Continue doing the warm compresses, and keep the eyelids clean of any crusting.
