Discontinue: Stop taking the medicine. It sounds like you may have an allergy to the medicine. If you continue taking the medicine, there is a chance that you can go into anaphylactic shock. To doc: This could be strep throat which it is CRUCIAL to treat. Go to a doc today and get seen. If a rapid strep test is done and negative, make sure you ask them to do a culture. Rapid tests can have false negatives 10-30% of the time and a Culture should be done to be sure you don't have it. Feel better soon! Pharyngitis: Difficult to understand why you were given a Rocephin (ceftriaxone) shot and placed on Keflex when your strep test was negative. One can have a horrendous looking throat due to just a viral infection, mononucleosis being the most notorious. If pain is improving, then consider waiting a bit longer as it may all sort itself out. Otherwise do follow-up with your doctor now to be re-evaluated. Read more

Maybe mono? Maybe oral herpes? The yellow could be superficial growth of bacteria or damaged skin or it might be jaundice.
