No one could: Without a lot more detail. However, most such things are simple bug bites or minor injuries that go away without treatment. Not worth a lot of worrying!

Unusual: Fleeting nonitchy red spots may be due to transient dilatation of tiny blood vessels in the back of the hand which would be more blotchy. Hives or insect bites or allergic reactions last longer than an hour and are itchy. Did exposure to a change in temperature or something that came in contact with your hand play a role?

Contact allergy: What you described suggested allergy to some thing you came in contact with. Try to keep a note of the things that you may have touched prior to the rash to discern if there is a pattern or if you can identify a product that causes the symptoms. If you identify, then you may wish to challenge yourself and if the product causes rash you will need to avoid it.

Itchy?: This sounds like hives. Hives are a raised bumpy type of rash that can occur anywhere on the body. They tend to come and go rather quickly and change position throughout the day.

Eczema: One of the most common conditions of the hand is eczema. This is a dry skin condition. Use good moisturizing cream like Aveeno (oatmeal) and you can use an over the counter steroid cream when it flares. You can use the steroid cream for five days in a row. Do not use the steroid continuously to prevent side effects.

I have these red spots that are temporary on my skin. They are temporary and don't last long. The only sexual contact I have ever had was a hand job?

I have these red spots that are temporary on my skin. They are temporary and don't last long. The only sexual contact I have ever had was a hand job?

No STD, no worries: Apparently you are concerned about STD. No worries there. No STDs are transmitted by hand-genital contact, and no STD causes red spots that come and go like this. If the skin looks normal at other times, usually these are areas of increased capillaries in the skin, more visible with increased blood flow. If on penis, often most prominent with sexual arousal. But see MD if you remain concerned.

Get seen?: Based on your description, I think your intuitive diagnosis is probably correct. These are likely form of Wart. Other possible diagnosis are much less likely as they occur on palmar surfaces. I suggest you see your primary doctor or a dermatologist and biopsy one of these lesions and then treat the rest with one of a variety of treatments. Then you can stop worrying about them! Get well soon.

See a dermatologist: Without being able to examine these it is impossible to diagnose. Have him seen and treated appropriately. One concern for lesions on the palms is syphilis. Go and get evaluated. Good luck.

Had protected sex & have balanitus after putting hand sanitizer on my penis in sept. No blisters. Red spots on head, red Corona/foreskin. Risk of hsv?

Had protected sex & have balanitus after putting hand sanitizer on my penis in sept. No blisters. Red spots on head, red Corona/foreskin. Risk of hsv?

Probably not herpes: Herpes doesn't cause this sort of problem, especially when it lasts several months. This sounds like garden variety fungal (yeast) or nonspecific balanitis, very common in uncircumcised men. Probably not caused by hand sanitizer, even if that was just before the problem started. Retract foreskin and wash 2x daily w/ soap & water. See a dermatologist if it continues after that.

Is this blood clots? I slept on my arm, & noticed swelling, red spots & numbness when I woke. I couldn't move my hand & saw a bulge in my wrist vein.

DVT upper extremity: It could be a blood clot in the superficial or deep veins or both superficial and deep veins and the only way to know is to get a noninvasive scan called a Duplex venous ultrasound. I suggest that you get one as soon as possible.
