Has anyone got ideas, my daughter is 10 and has a red spot under eye bag with red surrounding it, it's deep red and redness has got bigger thanks?

Hemorrhage: This is probably a seepage from a small vein in the conjunctiva which creates a very thin pool of blood in the normally closed space between the transparent conjunctiva and the underlying white sclera. Have eye doctor look: At it. Depends where this dot is 'under your eye'. Is it on the eyball conjunctiva (white area?) Is it on the lid margin? Is it on the lower eyelid? Probably not.: This sounds like a sub conjunctival hemorrhage, a broken blood vessel underneath the thin transparent membrane over the white of the eye. Broken blood vessel: Most likely you had a subconjunctival hemorrhage or broken blood vessel on the surface of the eye. These can happen if you lifted something heavy or if you were straining. Probably not: Sometimesstraing like coughing, sneezing or straining can cause red spote. Of corse if this is after being out in the wind or gardening it represent a foreign body on the surface. Skin infection?: Did you get bit or stung by a bug? Does it itch? Did you have a pimple there? A red area if warm, painful and spreading could be do a skin infection (called cellulitis).
