Hemangioma: Little red fits in the skin anywhere are likely to be hemmangiomas. These are very common and if no consequence. They usually last a long time like a mole. Small lump: As described, it sounds like you had a localized abscess or type of localized infection (with the redness, palpable lump, and warmth). Wait, then go: If you think it was caused by a bee or insect, then the area should slowly get better in time, try ice immediately if swelling after a sting, then warm compresses and Ibuprofen or aleve (naproxen) for pain.
