Dr. Greg Hinson answered:

What could cause my 16 month old little girl to cry and hold her vaginal area? I have called her pediatrician, he isn't concerned nor wanted to see her. She has been doing this for a week now off and on. No temp, no blood in urine, no redness or swellin

Make her an appt...

Diaper_rash
I would call and get her an appointment anyway. It is not normal for her to experience focused pain like that. Some possible causes include a simple diaper rash in the area that is irritated by urinating. Even without the doctor's appointment, you can look down there yourself to see if you see any redness and treat it as you would a regular diaper rash. Might require an anti-fungal cream from Dr.

Brown, tissue-like specks in urine, combined with slight itching and heavy brown (not red) spotting, am a virgin: GYN or urinary issue or normal?

Urine vs GYN issue

Discolored urine or debris in the urine may be a product of the urine stream collecting debris from the periurethral area (where the urine comes out is called your urethra). It could also be a sign of urinary infection. Conversely, vaginal itching and unusual discharge may be a yeast or bacterial infection of the vagina. This is best differentiated by physical examination.

Dr. Yale Shulman answered:

Are bubbles in urine a sign of a high red blood cell count?

No.

Blood
Bubbles may be normal, unless the urine is "bubbling" as it comes out of the urethra. Pneumaturia may be a sign of a fistula or infection. If the bubbles develop in the bowl when the urine hits the water, this may be normal.

What does it mean to have white and red blood cells in urine?

Blood in urine

Open-uri20131013-8500-slouwi
Blood is not normally in urine. If there is blood (RBCs and WBCs) in the urine and nothing else abnormal, then blood is entering your urine in some way. Are there symptoms like burning with urine, flank pain, recent infection, etc? In females this is common with recent period. See your doctor for further follow up as this needs to be looked at in a clinical context to be sure everything is good.
