Red Sore On Vulva
Scratching from vaginal irritation created red sore spots on vulva, doctor tested for herpes. Doesn't herpes result in blisters? What else could be?
Various causes: Vaginal itching without discharge can indicate infections like yeast or STDs like herpes. It can indicate an allergic reaction to household products like certain soaps and laundry detergents. There are also some skin conditions liked lichen sclerosis which can cause vaginal itching. Hormone deficiencies from menopause or breast feeding can also cause itching.
I have a big red sore bump on my vulva & when I stand or sit it hurts what home rememedies should I do toget rid ofit& I don't have sex what can it be?
2nd rx for bladder infection. Burning sore red vulva, infrequent periods. Last bleeding started only with straining and was bright red (dont think it was from rectum). the bleeding turned brownish and then red while straining again. Perimenopause?
Can't say.: The color of vaginal blood is of no clinical significance. Brown blood is older blood being expelled from the uterus. Red blood can be fresher blood. Sore red, vulva could be related to yeast infection, friction, dryness. Don't know how infrequent your periods actually are. There isn't a way to say with the available information. Consider medical eval. Take care.See 1 more doctor answer

My vulva is red, hard, white spots, feels sore &hurts. The sides where my ovaries are sore &I can feel them. Started when I started my birth control.?
Yeast? STD? Herpes?: This could be an allergic or chemic reaction of some sort, or an infection, such as rather severe yeast; or perhaps genital herpes, if at risk for STDs. Pain in the lower abdomen also can go along with STDs, which can cause pelvic inflammatory disease (PID, infection of the fallopian tubes). See a doctor ASAP.
Sore throat immediately after sex. Chills and very tired. Also noticed tiny red dots (like a rash) on vulva. STD??
Likely a cyst: It is possible that you have a small sebaceous cyst. These usually are asymptomatic unless they become infected or become really large. Also bartholin's cyst can occur near the entrance of the vagina. Cysts usually occur from blocked ducts causing secretions to build up. Best thing to do is to see your doctor if it does not improve or resolve in 2 weeks.
Red bump on labia majora. Popped it early and white stuff came out. Now red and a little sore. What is it?
Inclusion cyst: What you are describing sounds like an inclusion cyst. They are very common and occur when skin cells get trapped below the surface of the skin. If it is now red and sore I suggest you see your doctor because it could be infected and you may need treatment with antibiotics or further drainage.See 1 more doctor answer
Cunningless performed by friend with tongue ring last night. Now clitoris and surrounding vulva are red, swollen and tender. Link to tongue ring?
Probable abrasion.: It's probably an abrasion and should get better if you leave it alone for a couple of day. Keep it clean and dry (pat it dry after shower or bath). If does not get better in a couple of days or if it gets worse, you need to get checked.
Red area on my left labia majora near vaginal opening. It feels swollen and is tender to the touch. There is no head or blister.?
Labial lesion: It is most likely innocent but you need to see your gyn.
I ve redness and soreness of the vulvar area and vagina, after use of canesten, and ve external l burning, what may be cause and treatment for relief?
Dermatitis: Possible reaction to ingredients or not a yeast infection (canesten is for yeast). If gets worse or redness spreads then be seen as soon as possible. Otherwise was skin with cool water. Can try soaking in tub with 2 cups of baking soda. Try ice packs to area for 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off and see a doctor when you can
The last two days l have been experiencing a pearl color vaginal discharge and have redness and dry patch on the bottom surface of the vulva.?
Yeast: This sounds classic for yeast infection. You could try an over the counter anti-fungal from the drugstore, and then if that doesn't work, see a doctor for a more thorough exam and testing. Or you can go straight to doctor. Pearl color discharge is normal.
I've been having some irritation on my perineum area redness on both sides between my vulva and anus. It seems to worsen with wetness. Any suggestion?
Sounds like yeast: It sounds like you may have a yeast infection. Over the counter yeast creams are available. You could try that. If not improved then you will need to be seen for an examination so that a more definitive diagnosis can be made.
