I have a large lesion/sore on my left temple. It's about the size of a silver dollar, red around the edges, and draining yellow puss and clear fluids.

Get attention: I would see a doctor sounds like it needs some treatment, it will not get better by it self you are already taking couple antibiotics and still having problems. ...Read more

I have a hard, non-motile, tender, but not red circular bump, 0.25" - 0.5" wide, under my skin, 2 -2.5" above my left temple. Im 35 and F. Thoughts?

A few things: There are various things that can look like this on the skin. The two most common lesions are a lipoma or a cyst (typically a pilar cyst). While these are normally mobile, they can also be non-mobile. There are rarer lesions, such as other soft tissue and bony tumors or cysts. If it is bothersome or growing, I'd recommend having it evaluated by a dermatologist and getting it removed. ...Read more

There's no need for: worry right now, but there is need for concern and action. Sinus problems, migraine & tension headaches and temporal can cause such symptoms. May be viral: If there is a single sore and you have no other symptoms (no headache, no stomach ache, no fever), the sore throat may well be a virus. Treatment for that is supportive. If you develop any of the above symptoms in addition, however, and do not have symptoms such as stuffy nose or cough, see your doctor to make sure you do not have strep. ...Read more

Tenderness,dysthesia: Such tenderness, if it's the skin, without rash or redness, suggests a hypersensitivity of skin disorder. I would look for deficiencies of magnesium,calcium,iron,vitamin b12, and also check thyroid status. Anxiety is a possible cause also. Discuss this with your physician. ...Read more
