Infection: You may hve a staph infection that may have spread from your arm pit to your vaginal area. Your infection could have been caused by shaving both areas with and old razor.See your doctor asap because you may have an abcess which will needed to be lanced and drained and started on antibiotics. ...Read more

I got a flu shot & pneumonia shot on Wednesday. Onr of my arms is now red, hot, sore & puffy at injection site. The redness has grown to about 4x2.

Perhaps: The red line is just inflammation/infection following the lymphatics. Lymphatics are channels carrying "foreign" material towards a lymph node, which is a sieve in the body. It filters out "foreign" material. So, this just means that your immune system is function. Infected gland/node: You have both the odor pproducing glands and lymph glands located in that area. The lymph glands tend to be round and movable and can be pushed around under the skin. Although sore, it seldom communicates with the skin directly, but seem deep to it. Skin infections: Hello Aliss, it sounds like you may have had a little abscess in your arm pit area. That's pretty common and they usually go away without treatment. My fear if you were a patient of mine, would be that you have an abscess under your skin that you can't see while it appears to be better on the surface.
