Is a red ring around a mole is bad?

Not neccessarily

Muscle_system
A redness around a mole indicates inflammation that could be from irritation. However, in some cases , the inflammation represents an immune response as the mole could be atypical. Either way , please see your Dermatologist.

I have a mole with redness around it. Is it cancerous?

Not necessarily

Cancer
But it should be examined by your doctor especially if it is dark brown or black. Red skin lesions are often benign but black and changing moles can be cancerous and should not be ignored.

If small skin mole is accidentaly scraped/scratched off and does not regrow is this a concern ?? Only scar remains with some redness

Sounds normal to me

Muscle_system
I'd be more concerned if the mole returned, especially if it became darker or larger. This sounds normal. The redness in the scar should gradually improve with time: avoid sun exposure until all the redness is gone from the scar.

IHad a mole excised a month ago. Some redness that looks like dry skin makes up the outline where the bandage was. What's the best way to clear it up?

Irritation

Skin
This could be reaction to adhesive from the bandage. You could be allergic to adhesive. You should see the doctor who removed mole to be evaluated. If it is allergic reaction, cortisone could improve it.

I have a flat pink scar on my face from mole removal, how to I reduce redness and as I am prone to keloids is there any chance it could develop to one?

Neocutis Peche.

Nevi
I use a product from NeoCutis called Peche as a redness reducer in scarred areas. It is also important to avoid sun exposure to scarred areas especially in the early stages. Given your tendency to Keloid I would recommend this as a first step and avoid more traumatic treatments.

I have a small freckle or possibly mole on my thigh that seems to appear and then disappear. It has a red ring around it. What is it?

Have it checked.

Most likely it is a benign lesion given your history. The red ring around it could be from irritation or the presence of a vascular lesion/blood vessels underlying or adjacent to the freckle.

I have a small blackish bump on my leg, it has a red ring around it, and I am not sure if it is a mole or not. What is it and what should I do?

See a dermatologist!

Leg
Any time there is a pigmented lesion (one with color), and sometimes even a non-pigmented lesion, it is necessary to have them examined by a dermatologist. The red ring could simply indicate inflammation but the fact that it may be new to you or is a changing lesion is a real indication to have this examined by a professional

Could the change of the mole on my arm be serious? Recently a very small mole on my arm has become darker and smaller. It has a small red ring around it. It doesn't hurt at all only a little when I poke it. Also it definitely wants to come off but I'm not

You

You have mentioned two of the warning signs of melanoma (change in size and two different colors). While I don't really have enough medical information to give you a diagnosis, considering that melanoma is one of the most deadly cancers, and the incidence has skyrocketed, the best and safest thing to do is see a dermatologist and have it biopsied as soon as possible.

How long does it take for a cancerous mole to spread? When i touch it and its red around the edge. do you think it's cancerous?

It takes time

Muscle_system
Cancer often remains localized for a finite period of time. The whole process takes weeks to months to evolve. So there is ample time to get yourself checked and verify if it is anything that needs a biopsy or not. Many skin conditions are labeled as moles but they may not be melanoma precursors or Moles, that can become a melanoma. You should go see a dermatologist when in doubt.

So, I have this itchy dark brown mole on my hip, it's sort of red around the edges, I have no idea whats causing it. Any ideas?

See dermatologist

Skin_cancer_surgery
and he/she will tell you what it is and treat you. When moles change they need to be looked at by a doc. Peace and good health.
