Steroid is not Rx.: Either for Boil or Acne or Mosquito bite. Antibiotic cream may help an Abscess from Bite. But for Acne there are topical Cleansing agent and Prescription strength Topical Antibiotic cream and Retin A (tretinoin) preparations are available. Steroid does not help. ...Read more

Avoid any irritation: if it's not painful and doesn't itch, you probably don't have to take any action. However you do need to avoid scratching a plane with it. Avoid any kind of friction.avoid putting any substance or chemicals on it. If it's just a simple mosquito bite, pimple should go away on its own.
