Hard to tell: It is very hard to tell without photos. Even with photos would be guessing. You need to provide more data. Would want to know if you have high hemoglobin, extra heart sounds, fixed s2 (racepinephrine). cold be cyanotic heart diseae or could be nothing.

More Info Please: I am not certain what your question is, but I share your concern about your child. Cyanotic (i.e. Turning blue") heart disease can be serious and requires very close monitoring with often complex case. Please discuss these issues with the child's pediatric cardiologist as soon as possible. And please write back with more information so we can be of further assistance.

Please let me know if there is any connection between lumps in the hand and heart disease?

Please let me know if there is any connection between lumps in the hand and heart disease?

Not usually: Except for janeway lesions (http://en. Wikipedia. Org/wiki/janeway_lesion) - which is indicative of infective endocarditis (and these are very rare!), there's no association.

I'm not sure what: Exactly your heart condition is. Your chest pain could be from that or could be musculoskeletal in nature. Get reassurance from your dr or cardiologist. Maintain your blood pressure lower than 130/80, cut down on your salt intake, exercise regularly and attain ideal body weight. Take care!

Can hand foot and mouth affect a 80yrs old with heart disease?

Can hand foot and mouth affect a 80yrs old with heart disease?

Confusing question: Certainly, if someone has gone 80 years and never had this virus they could become infected by it. It would likely cause abdominal cramps and a rash like many such viruses do that have no pattern named after them. Chances are, they had it as a kid and don't remember it, and there is no one is around that might.

See Doc: Definitely see your doctor. An echocardiogram will tell if this is a cardiac issue, a venous doppler will make sure you don't have blot clots in your legs or pelvis, a TSH blood test will rule out an underactive thyroid.

High anxiety level: Anxiety may manifest itself in many different ways. High anxiety level may mimic the symptoms of a heart attack and/or respiratory condition. Sometimes also, physical conditions may trigger anxiety. Get first reassured on your physical health by having a physical exam and lab work-up done by your general practitioner to rule out any medical condition before seeing any therapist or psychiatrist.

It is unlikely that: The cardiologist will be able to explain your multiple symptoms but he/she will be able to exclude a cardiac etiology for your chest pain. Then you will need to be evaluated for your other complaints. A neurologist evaluation would seem reasonable to exclude multiple sclerosis as a possibility.

My heart flutters and beats 40-50 BPM when I lay in bed. My doctor says I don't have heart disease but this feels abnormal.

Probably benign: When you are in bed all is quiet and it is possible to notice many things about your body and sometimes even hear blood flowing by your ear. A heart rate of 40-50 is nice and slow and may indicate that you are very healthy of an elite athlete. It is uncommon to have such a slow heart beat so your heart pumps a full load of blood with each beat. A flutter is a fast heartbeat maybe 170

Chest pain: While it may be only musculoskeletal, given your age and the circumstances that led to the pain, the wisest course of action is to immediately go to the er for cardiac evaluation. No adult male with chest pain should assume it is not heart related until they have been properly evaluated. Go now without further delay.

I'd suggest for u: To go to an urgent care or er to be safe and get checked for irregular heart beat, thyroid condition, coronary artery disease, clot in the lungs etc. God bless u! http://www. M.Webmd. Com/pain-management/guide/whats-causing-my-chest-pain.

What is the leading/main cause of heart disease in the U.S.?

What is the leading/main cause of heart disease in the U.S.?

Bad Habits: The majority of heart disease is a result of poor eating habits, a sedentary lifestyle, possibly poor stress management & smoking or tobacco. In addition, genetics plays a role, as well as under treated hypertension, diabetes, and high bad cholesterol. Uncontrollable risk factors for heart disease include age (older), and gender (male). See PCP for risk factor screening and treatment.

What problems can angiography find? I have heart disease and my doctor wants to do angiography. But I don’t understand what he’s looking for? We already know about the heart disease. What else could he find?

PossibleOtherOptions: Angiograms only show an x-ray shadow-gram, still or motion, of dye/blood inside blood vessels; but keeping them open so blood can get where needed important. (also keep in mind: artery ds is in artery walls & does not show in angiogram images plus only larger openings visible). After ds is advanced, plaque ruptures lead to clots (locally & downstream); angioplasty & surgery can partially? Symptoms.

Why do people get heart disease?

Why do people get heart disease?

Interactions: Heart disease is often the result of environmental interactions and genetic predispositions. Some forms of heart diease are genetic, like some valvular abnormalities. Some are environmental, like exposure to toxins. Most are the result of some genetic predisposition or liklihood of developing a pathology and exposure in the environment that allows that predisposition to become manifest.
