Probably stye: This sounds like it is in the substance of the eyelid. If so it is a stye, a blocked gland which is now becoming infected. If it is on the eye itself or the vision is affected you should see an ophthalmologist tomorrow. Could be: Redness could be from a virus, allergy or rarely a bacteria. Clear lump if on eyeball could be a cyst from allergy or virus. Chalazion: Best easy approach is to apply dry hot compress to the eye lid for 5-10 min then apply the ointment inside the lower eye lid. The body temperature will melt it and it will go where it needs to go. Do this 4 times a day. If it is not resolved within 5-7 days it may need to be treated with minor surgery. Stye: I am going to assume that this lump is on your eyelid and not your eyeball. If so, most probably this is a stye or chalazion is its medical name.
