I have an itchy/redness scrotum for awhile now, it hasn't gone away with trying anti fungal creams, sprays, baby rash cream has not worked either.?

Leave it alone: Scrotal itching and rash isn't usually due to fungal infection, which is more likely to affect the the groin (e.g. Inner thighs) than the scrotum itself. Scrotal rashes are more often due to dry skin or excessive scratching. The best thing to do is to avoid over-washing, especially with soap and hot water, and avoid scratching. My daughter is almost 10 months and has a rash on her back. It looks like a heat rash, no redness. I meant to grab the hydrocortisone cream, but I applied the benadryl cream on accident. I immediately washed it off using baby wash and water.?

Sounds fine: Benadryl cream for a few minutes or more, on a 10-month old, should not have any noticeable effect. If such a baby has ill symptoms such as fussiness, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or pain, she may have some other illness instead of just a heat rash. If worried, parents may contact their pediatrician for advice or an in-person exam. ...Read more
