Took ibuprofen now my temp is norma for 3 days now, but now facial rash&scalp also, red itchy spots on palms of hands & soles of feet. What do I do?

Allergic reaction: If the rash appeared after taking Ibuprofen and not before, then it can be an allergic reaction to it. Some people develop hives from such medications called nsaids. You may need to take an antihistamine to help you with the rash but I would avoid all nsaids, until you are evaluated by a doctor. If you need to take something for a fever, from now on take Acetaminophen instead. ...Read more

Not hives no redness cluster of small hard clear fluid filled bumps on heel of palm on both hands palms and soles of feet itchy Benadryl (diphenhydramine) no help?

A form of dermatitis: There are a few different conditions that may cause such a presentation. This could be due to an organism. But there are a variety of causes which could be due to eczema or a less common condition called pompholyx. I have a cut on the bottom of my foot, I put a bandaid on it. Later that day I took off the bandaid. I see that there is a big red itchy spot.

Adhesive reaction: If the shape of the red, itchy spot is close to the shape of the bandaide, then this is most likely an allergic reaction to the adhesive. If you applied an ointment to the cut, it could also be a reaction to that as well. Unless your cut was dirty and not cleansed well, it is less likely to be infection developing that quickly. Blister bandages use a different adhesive and could work well. ...Read more
