Pharyngitis: I would suspect that you are suffering from pharyngitis an inflammation of the lymphoid tissues and lining of the mouth. There is a ring of these tissues that line the back of the mouth... tonsils, adenoids and base of the tongue. It is likely a reaction to a bacterial or viral infection. You should see a MD to rule out a Strep. infection which left untreated can lead to mere serious health issues ...Read more

Potential explanatio: Red spots on the back of the throat could be petechiae, or little bruises. These occur from trauma. Maybe back off from any oral activities you may be partaking in. White tongue could very well be related to the hairlike projections that grow on the tongue. Try brushing it more. Tonsils swelling is a normal immune response to any kind of infection.
