Autoimmune: It could be that your hypothyroidism is related to hashimoto's thyroiditis which can be associated with chronic urticaria, did you check your thyroid antibodies? One autoimmune disease can coexist with another causing the vasculitic rash. You need to see an immunologist for a work up. ...Read more

Cushing: Yes. If Cushing syndrome is caused by excess ACTH secretion from the pituitary gland, the pituitary tumor can compress TSH secreting cells nearby, causing hypothyroidism. See your doctor: No way to definitively help without feeling or looking at the neck. At the very least, you need blood test to see what your thyroid level is. A thyroid cyst can be reabsorbed by the body slowly. It does not "burst". ...Read more
