Red Bumpy Itchy Rash On Legs
I have derm appt - but in mean time I have red bumpy ITCHY rash on part of lower right leg. It's now started on left. What could this be?!
Could be minor...: Dermatology is all about appearance. I am guessing it is an erythematous papule ("red bumpy"), which honestly could be an insect bite, or contact dermatitis, both of which are common. However you mention pregnancy; there is a condition called PUPPP: Pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy, which are terribly itchy red bumps! See what the dermatologist thinks!
Bumpy, not very red, not hugely itchy rash on both legs inside knees down to ankle area. Recently have spent some time walking around in tall grass.
Bites?: Can be many things but bug bites would be first on my list. Try topical hydrocortisone cream. If problem persists, consult doctor.
I am experiencing skin sores, itchy rash (severity: severe) (quality: severe itching) (side: scalp), rash in armpit (quality: pustules or pimples), itch, leg numbness and skin rash (quality: itchiness, blisters, crusty, bumpy, red or bluish purple, fla
Sore/ itchy rash: May be eczema, psoriasis which could respond to steroids but may need stronger treatment if diffuse, folliculitis for which mupirocin topical and bactrim oral if not allergic would help, or autoimmune process. Or food intolerence- gluten, milk. Would follow up with dermatologistSee 1 more doctor answer
What causes an itchy rash with little bumps on top of my feet and redness on lower legs? Also bumps are not itching anymore, now they are dry bumps.
Allergic reaction: Usually rashes on the top of your feet are casued by some type of allergic reaction or contact dermatits. With your lower legs involved I would rule out edema/swelling as an issue as well. Your socks or shoes could be creating the rash on your feet more so if they got wet while wearing them or if you have changed soaps or detergents. If the rash persists or returns get examined by a doctor.See 1 more doctor answer
Experiencing itchy rash. Also describe me: Skin redness/irritation and Allergic reaction. What should I do? Hand arms and legs mostly hands& arms help
Too little info: Most skin rashes need to be examined in order to offer meaningful insight. In the case of a reaction, a discussion about potential exposures is also necessary.
I have a bumpy, itchy rash on the top of my feet and on one knee. it starts out red and blotchy and then it turns my foot purple. itching is severe.?
Needs to be seen: This could be an infection or allergy. You need to see a health care practitioner to determine the cause.
Allergy/ trauma: Could be allergy to one or more to the meds. You are on, or from constant trauma to the area like rough clothing and such.
Red, flaky, itchy rash on both lower legs. I'm guessing it's eczma. Is there any effective home remedies?
Yes and god one: Pure aloe gel from plant 3-4 times a day, wash with neem or turmeric water, apply paste of bitter gourd 3times a day, cut down on sugars and quit gluten. Vit e lubricates.
A red itchy rash on the inner side of my leg near the groin area for over 1 month. It decreases when I take anti biotics. I want a permanent solution?
Erythrasma: I assume you used actual antibiotics and not antifungals. You could have Erythrasma which is a bacterial infection that just like fungus affects areas of moist skin. The rash may have well defined borders and may become brownish. Topical and sometimes oral antibiotics are necessary. Keeping the area dry is the way to prevent this. Check that you are in good health for example no diabetesSee 1 more doctor answer
Can someone tell me what this flat red non-itchy rash on my legs is about? Noticed it over a month ago. Was on arms and went away but still on legs.
Not really: No one can offer specific advice without being able to visualize the rash. See a dermatologist if you are concerned.
I have a bright red (and itchy!) rash on the back of both my legs, between my butt and knee. It looks like small bug bite like bumps. Not spreading.?
Many causes: Rashes are challenging even when the doctor can see them, so even harder in this forum. Small red bumps on both legs make me think of reactions to clothes, or something in contact with that area on both sides. Bites can do it. It could be heat rash, a reaction of the skin to warmth and occlusion from pressure. Some drug reactions can do that as can conditions like eczema and psoriasis.See 1 more doctor answer

I have red flat itchy rash on shoulders, neck, chest, tummy and legs, what is this and treatment?
Many possibilities: There are many things that could cause the skin to itch. Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Insect bites can also be the cause of a rash on the skin. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.
I am experiencing dry skin, very itchy rash. On sides under boobs, back and inside of top of my legs. It gets worse in the winter. Red patchy circles?
Moisturizer: These are likely what is called winter rash due to dry skin. Try applying a moisturizer on your skin within 3 minutes after bathing (daily bathing is encouraged). Avoid scented or anti-bacterial soap. The red patchy circles however are not usually found in people with just dry skin. You may need to consult a dermatologist.
My lower legs have a swollen, red itchy rash...and blister like bumps. They become worse as the day progresses.
This will require: Evaluation by your physician or a dermatologist to provide accurate diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
My husband has a red itchy rash on his legs, back and between his toes. Fungus treatments do not help. Bactroban (mupirocin) helps but has not cleared it up in 3 months. What do you reccomend?
My arms and legs are a bright red but not itchy rash. I am also experiencing chills with the red skin.
Urgent: Please seek urgent medical advice as this might be a serious infection that needs to be treated at once.
After I drink several glasses of red wine, my right calf swells up, my leg aches, and I get an itchy rash behind my knee. What's going on?
Reaction to sulfites: Is possible. Sometimes, more expensive red wines can contain sulfites. I don't know why your left calf will be spared though. Stick with cheap white wine.
