Itching: Itching generally happens with dryness. Make sure you continue to follow a good skin care routine with hypoallergenic products and moisturization. Also drink plenty of water. If itching persists see your doctor for evaluation. Scabies, pregnancy, liver problems, certain other diseases can also cause itching.

Hives?: Sounds like your getting hives (urticaria) under certain conditions. If this itches and you scratch you may cause discoloration some of which could be permanent. See a dermatologist for eval and possible allergy testing.

Hives?: Good morning, red blotchy rash on arms and legs could be due to many causes. If it is due to an allergic or immune reaction, it may be hives. If the rashes are on the exposed areas of the arms and legs only, it is more likely due to insect bites, such as mosquitos and flees. Contact allergy is another consideration. If the rash persists, please visit your doctor.

NOT....: Do you mean that they are not raised/itchy/painful/spreading? May just be dry skin and the redness from your rubbing. Try some moisturizer on the area after bathing for a week or so to see if it helps. But it does not and this does bother you, consult a dermatologist.
Find the cause: Different conditions can cause itchy skin durin g pregnancy. If your skin is dry- applying hypoallergenic lotion should help. Eczema can be worse during pregnancy. Increase level of estrogen in some women can also cause redness and itchiness on the skin. If you have also symptoms like nausea, decrease apetite, mild jaundice etc- intrahepatic cholestasis should be ruled out. Discuss with your ob.
