Circumcised?: If uncircumcised, what you saw could be inflammatory change related with tight long foreskin. If so, heighten topical hygiene with judicious use of antifungal + hydrocortisone cream. If not improved as usually expected, see doc, and in long term, circumcision is needed. Of course, it is hard to tell what it may be without a direct look at. More? To http://formefirst. I have a small red circumscribed patch on the glans of my penis for 3 weeks now. I had no pain, no blisters no itchiness and no generalized symptoms.
Red Patch on Penis:
A red patch on the head of the penis can arise for several reasons. If you are not circumcised, this could be inflammation, called balanitis. Steroid creams help. If you have started any new meds, it could be a fixed drug eruption. Stopping the meds helps, but it is a harmless event.
If it is growing in size and doesn't respond to the above in a week or two, I recommend a urological evaluation. ...Read more

Is it possible that a couple tiny red dots (not blisters) on underside of penis that only lasted 3 days were recurrent genital herpes?
Probably not: Almost certainly this isn't herpes, which doesn't cause "red dots" that don't become blisters or open sore. And no herpes outbreak can heal entirely in only 3 days; 7-10 days is the minimum. If you have been diagnosed with genital herpes, follow your doctor's advoce about management. If worried about herpes but not diagnosed, the "red dots" don't suggest you have it. ...Read more
