Spironolactone: Ria, your best bet would be an oral medication called spironolactone. It is perfect for adult female acne induced or worsened by stress and menstrual cycling as it slightly inhibits the hormonal fluctuations that lead to the adult variant of acne. A low dose such as 50 or 100 mg per day should be sufficient. You do not want to get pregnant or be breast-feeding while on this medication. ...Read more

Herpes? Skin cyst?: Two possibilities are likely. If it only a single lesion every time, and in exactly the same location, then probably a sebaceous cysts that periodically becomes inflamed or infected. If it moves around a bit, or if several such bumps and superficialy (like blisters), then recurrent oral herpes (cold sore, fever blister) is likely. I'm betting on the cyst. However, recurrent skin lesions in the same spot can be allergic (contact dermatitis), something like shingles (viral), very rarely cancer or autoimmune.
