Is there anyway to get rid of skin tag besides going to a doctor? The last one said I had one but never saw it (i felt firm lump in rectum).

Probably not.: If the tag is big enough to cause a "firm lump", it's not something you can handle yourself; and there's no way to reach it anyway! let a doctor take care of it. ...Read more

Difference: Hemorrhoids are painful, swollen veins in the lower portion of the rectum or anus. A rectal abscess is an infection and a collection of pus in the area of the anus and rectum. Both can be painful, lead to swelling, redness, etc. So without an exam it tough to say if you have a hemorrhoid, a thrombosed hemorrhoid, or a rectal abscess.
