Need GYN follow up: You need to see a GYN MD in their office for follow up care to be certain that the ovarian cyst is completely gone. An ultrasound exam will help along with the pelvic exam. No reason to wait: Ruptured ovarian cysts are common and really do not impact the ability to get pregnant - unless you have a condition called polycystic ovarian syndrome, in which fertility is a huge problem. In general if things are going well, the most likely time to get pregnant is about 2 weeks before your period which is when ovulation most commonly happens.
