Common problem : Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections & hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do a home pregnancy test . There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit. ...Read more
When iam having a sex with my wife am gonna loose my strength within few seconds and i recently got married. 12 oct 2012. ?
Do you mean PE?: Is it a question of premature ejaculation? If so, there are many possible treatment options ranging from topical preparations to systemic medications., such as paroxetine, among others (this one just seems to have the best track record for daily use). It is well tolerated, but by prescription only. Ask your doctor about a trial use (20mg a day for a week, then 10mg thereafter). It works well! ...Read more
I have recently had a hysterectomy, and i've had some friends say that sex feels different to men after you've had one. True?
Doubt it: As long as you have good vaginal muscle support and lubrication, then there should be no difference. ...Read more
Hi, I recently had protected sex, but it was my first time and I didn't know the guy very well, should i take plan B just incase?
Maybe not: If you are certain that with the "protected" part everything was fine, the plan B will only mess with your cycle. If you know when you are supposed to come on your period, count 14 days back - that is when you would have ovulated. If you did ovulate around the encounter you are referring to, then take plan B. ...Read more
I am a 26 year old female and have just recently started having penetrative sex but having some bleeding (1st and 2nd time). Why is that?
My boyfriend and I have been having protected sex for 2 weeks. Recently, i found a bit of cum and i'm not sure if it's mine? Should i be worried?
You found discharge?: If you are saying you use condoms, first off bravo! if after sex you found fluid in the vagina that looked like cum (sticky, white/yellow), and the condom did not break, then this was most likely your own lubricating fluids - females will produce a lot of lubricating fluids when sexually stimulated. Hope this addresses your question. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I recently had some rough and hard sex with my boyfriend and now I can't feel my iud strings can they be there still I'm just scared that they went far up to were I can not feel the strings anymore?
See your GP or OB: Usual advice is that if you can't feel your IUD strings, then you need to see your FamilyDoc (GP) or OB. But given that this occurred after some fun times, wait a day or so (unless you report stomach/abdominal/pelvic pain) and chances are you'll find the strings again. I'd worry about dislodged IUD if you had pain. Without pain, IUD is most likely in place. ...Read more
Im male 22yr old, recntly hd sex wid a femle of 19yr bt i dint lt da cum go in cuz she dosn't wants to GT prgnant. My doubt is wil she be pregnt or not?
Sperm = Pregnancy: Yes. Of course she can become pregnant. This is very well known and understood the whole world over. Pre-cum, the semen that leaks from an erect penis have fresh sperm in it and causes pregnancy in about 30% of the people who 'withdraw' like you did in the sexual encounter. One does not need to ejaculate to leave sperm in the vagina. Sperm cause pregnancy whether from a penis or a turkey baster. ...Read more
Need details: There are basically two kinds of pain during sex. One is pain associated with deep thrusting, which may have an abdominal cause, like adhesions. The other is vaginal pain, usually the result of chafing from inadequate lubrication. See your Gyn for evaluation--at your age you might require hormone replacement therapy. ...Read more

If you ovulated....: If you were ovulating around the time of the unprotected sex, you could be at risk for pregnancy. A urine test will be positive as early as the time of the expected period - but certainly within the month after conception. This would be a great time to check in with your health care provider about reliable birth control so you don't have to sweat this one out! good luck. Lgromkomd. ...Read more
Not an STD: Apparently you have bacterial vaginosis. Gardnerella is one of many bacteria that overgrow in BV; it was once thought to be the cause, but probably is not. BV usually is not an STD. Although most frequent in sexually active women, it is common in others. If you douche, that might be the cause. Probably you are being treated with metronidazole, which should clear it up. ...Read more
