I am a long distance runner. Sometimes, during my runs, my heart suddenly starts to race. It beats really fast and I get dizzy, tired and nauseas.
Need cardiac eval: It sounds like you may be developing an arrhythmia or irregular heartbeat when your heart is stressed to a certain point. You need to see a cardiologist for appropriate evaluation. Do not delay with this. Sometimes these abnormal heartbeats can be fatal. Best of luck with this. Dr R ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Distance runner. Went for long run this afternoon (6pm), still coughing 4 hours later. Took albuterol before the run and 3 puffs in the 4 hours after.

Core Exercises: Typically core strengthening exercises are the best to help relieve pressure and forces in the spine. I would try and google some or look them up on youtube to see descriptions. If you can do them yourself, wonderful otherwise ask your doctor to get a referral to a good physical therapist for further assistance. Sounds like DOMS: A variant of delayed onset muscle soreness. If the walking was unusual or vigorous to you, like a new exercise, the response can be normal. While exerting your muscles, there is some microscopic tearing, and an inflammatory response to repair these tears. This is what makes you stronger. But if your exertion is suddenly great, you may get overwhelmed by the inflammatory response. Rest & ice. ...Read more
Been on omeprozole for a long time and weight has increased is this the reason and if istopped will weight return to normal?
Not likely reason: Omeprazole is the generic name for the famous purple pill, prilosec--it's a good acid supressor known in the medical community as a proton-pump-inhibitor (ppi). If intake + activities=same for you and u still gain wt, consult doc for eval. Good luck. ...Read more

My boyfriend and I find it sexually satisfying for some reason when he urinates inside me, would this affect me long term? (e.G., reproductively?) etc
Well.....: Urine is sterile, but I suppose it could increase your chances of getting a vaginal infection in the same way that douching can cause a vaginal infection. It surprises me that he is able to do this. If he has an erection adequate for penetration, then it should be extremely difficult for him to urinate while he has the erection. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
