I always had low iron levels and normal blood pressure since yesterday my BP is 153/123 today 153/116 is there a reason for this sudden change?
Had a blood test resulting in low iron could that be the reason I have had globus hystericus symptoms, since taking supplements the symptoms gone?

My blood tests showed anion gap, serum 9 mmol/l and iron % saturation 22%. Any connection or reason for concern? Both flagged as low.
Abnormal labs: Low anion gap is usually a lab error, so it is spuriously low. A recheck would probably "correct" it. Low iron saturation cannot be interpreted by itself, as there are additional measurements needed to compliment the picture such as red blood cell count, hemoglobin, hematocrit, iron level and iron binding capacity as well as ferritin level. ...Read more

Watch it: I trust that your physician is confident you do not have a come-and-go gastric ulcer and that you've been offered a colonoscopy. Also trusting you're not losing blood in the urine, and you're not a hard-core meat-avoider. One cause of iron deficiency that gets missed is intermitent bleeding from reflux esophagitis. Correlation : The anemia is not likely to be causing poor appetite (causation) but is likely related to (correlation) the cause of the anemia. Examples might include stomach ulcers -- blood loss resulting in iron deficiency anemia and the irritated ulcers relating to poor appetite. Iron replacement: You will have iron def if you have mentrual bleeding and not taking enough iron to combenate lost iton in the blood. You can always take iron tablet if you can tolerate it, if severe or cannot take there is IV replacement. You have a : Few issues here. You need to be careful the swelling below the knee is not in the calf region as a clot is a serious problem. The wrist pain i would see an orthopedist for who can comment on your other issues as well. Not sure if that.
