Probiotics: A candidal yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis (bv), caused by gardinerella can each cause a whitish vaginal discharge. Both of the conditions are caused by an overgrowth, an imbalance of one or another organism in the colon. I'd advise her to try a probiotic formulation, such as e coli, acidophilus, or even a daily serving of yogurt. ...Read more

If I'm in early labor (3cm) and baby hasn't dropped yet could a reason be that he is to big to fit through my pelvis because I was checked today and the nurse said he is high up?
May not be in pelvis: The OB provider who did the exam knows not only dilatation and effacement (thinness) of the cervix but also station of the presenting part. It might be that the fetal part is not even in the pelvis yet so concerns about size might not be warranted. It could be rather that the baby is in some position other than head first. A patient should ask for input after an ultrasound or exam by OB physician. ...Read more

I'm 19 and still a virgin can I pass the pre hire physical if I refuse a pelvic exam for that reason!
Yikes!: I can't imagine any pre-employment physical that would require a full pelvic exam - that is one of the most invasive things I have ever heard. A pelvic exam is not even recommended anymore until age 21, so if you are 19 y/o, it would not even be part of a routine exam yet. If whoever you are planning to work for is requiring a pelvic exam as part of hire, I would seriously consider another job! ...Read more

Mesh?: Prolapse surgery with some spotting after surgery? Hard to know so would suggest you check in with your prolapse surgeon. Pelvic pain, U/S Tech said I had "chocolate chip" ovaries but said I had no cyst or any reason for concern, awaiting results from doctor. Thoughts?
Ultrasound: Although ultrasound technicians are very good at what they do, that is doing the ultrasound, they are not Physicians. I can not count the number of times I have had patients scared to death of random comments they have made as they have done ultrasounds. You need to wait for the Radiologist, a Physician, to read the ultrasound and report it to your doctor. He will then give you the correct findings ...Read more

Whilst having pap smear gyny said cervix looks little inflammed, bled easily when touched. On day 1 after smear and have lower pelvic cramping. Reason?
Probably unrelated: Your symptoms are probably not related to the PAP or the inflammation of cervix. How do I get my vagina not to be so dry during an before sex? Csn I do anything and is there a reason for it
Lubricant: One option would be to try a lubricant like KY during intercourse. Also, there are over-the-counter vaginal moisturizers like replens which can help.
