Reason Nurse Eat
No matter how much or whatever i eat, i never get fat and always remain thin. Whats the reason for this ?
See Dr., then eat...: If one is truly underweight (based on height, family background, and body type), a dr. Can evaluate for a hormonal, digestive, or other disorder. If no medical cause is found, then one can add weight by eating more calories of nutritious foods, while also doing weight-training to increase muscle. I lost my appetite about a month ago. I've been forcing myself to eat, but have kept my weight. Is there any reason for concern?
Lately I feel cold when others in the room dont. I feel better as soon as I eat but after a while cold again. What could be the reason?
I exercise an hour and a half 5-6 days a week and eat well, but suddenly am unable to lose any weight. I recently turned 40 - is that the reason?
Reached a plateau: If you lost significant amount of wt fast, your body may have reached a plateau, at least for awhile. Your body needs time to adjust to a new equilibrium and if you are persistent, likely u will start to lose some more. Doing 1.5hrs/day 5-6x/wk is fantastic. So, keep it up. If can't lose more with good discipline, consult doc. Good luck. ...Read more
What is the reason that I'm such a health freak when others are so cool about what they do and what they eat? Why am I always worried about my health?
My weight keep increasing even though I exercise every other day. I wonder what can be the reason. I don't eat lot of unhealthy food or high quantities of food?
Keep a record: of ALL the calories you consume and the exact amount of exercise and type and take this to a nutritionist or a clinician. You don't give your age or gender, but women over 50 must exercise at least 45 minutes a day to keep from gaining weight. And it could also be another medical condition. ...Read more
Feeling gassy...: Feeling full of "gas" may reflect malabsorption of food (like gluten, lactose), intake of poorly digested food, or choosing foods known to promote gas (beans, fizzy drinks). Sometimes its more complicated--a stomach emptying too slowly, bacterial overgrowth syndrome, delayed intestinal function, partial obstruction from any cause, infection, rectum problems, and pelvic pathology outside the gut. ...Read more
Questions!: What is eating "right?" many people think they are but are not. But, apart from that issue, exercising increases plasma volume (2-3 lbs), and will add muscle mass. This may be hiding body fat loss! i always measure body fat for patients on a diet/exercise program to document this! i would have this done, because cyou want to see increased leaness, not fat%. ...Read more
No connection: There really isn't any connection with eating cold foods and catching a cold. Cold viruses don't have anything to do with eating cold foods. ...Read more
Possibly: Hypothyroidism (low thyroid hormone), cushing's syndrome (too much cortisol), med side effects, inactivity, fluid retention; there are many reasons why weight could increase despite not eating much. Regardless, apart from retaining too much fluid (eg. Congestive heart failure), if weight is increasing, it is because the number of calories exceeds the body's need. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Why don't i want to eat ? I think it's because i've been so sad lately .. Can that be the reason ?
My friend and I eat the same foods. She leads a more sedentary life than I do.And she is NOT one of those who never get fat.Yet she is slim. Reason??
Matabolism: As the saying goes, "One size does not fit all." We each have a unique metabolism, the speed at which we digest food and turn it into energy and fat. Lifestyle also plays and important part. Are you basically healthy? If so, rejoice. We all want to look good and like being slim. Be neat and clean, nice to self and others, and that will produce more happiness than the number on the scale.Shanti ...Read more

Little reason to eat:
Honey in any form is full of sugar. Although promoted as a remedy for various ailments in the old Medicine world, it has no medical uses that the modern science can discern.

BMI isn't enough: Hello. By knowing your weight and height, your body mass index is 29.4 which is at the upper limit of overweight range. However, BMI doesn't tell the whole story. Yes.: Some children have very discriminating tastes and do not like the bland taste of baby foods. Some do not like a particular food. I encourage parents to make their own food. If you can mush it he can eat it. And mushed/pureed table food has more taste and fiber. Give one new food every three to four days. It will pass. If he is teething he may also be a little sore and just not want to eat. ...Read more
Help! need to know if there's a certain reason that my tongue burned up every time i eat something salty?
What can be the reason for my tongue having "sores" whenever I eat spicy/sour foods and then it disappears again.
Likely canker sores: Recurrent painful sores in your mouth after eating spicy foods are likely canker sores. We don't know why they occur. Trauma, hormone changes and emotional stress are triggers too. If you have other symptoms, get the sores elsewhere, have lesions that don't heal in 10-14 days, or if the pain is intolerable- see your doctor. Avoid the spicy foods and consider taking a daily B12 vitamin. ...Read more
