3 urine test within couple months and blood in my urine my rbc urine level is 1 have had bence jones labs done that also detected some levels in urine?
Bence jones protein: BJ proteins if seen in urine, probably need further evaluation with a hematologist (blood specialist) who will order more tests, usually blood tests. Based on their assessment plus a complete history, interview and physical exam they will be able to tell you if it needs treatment immediately or whether you can continue watching it for awhile. ...Read more

I am in my first trimester, my routine urine analysis shows blood detected, wbc, RBC and bacteria count-14500 and epithelial cells 137. What it mean?
For 57+ F with Hb 10.6, RBC 3.6, Pt 1.2L & ESR 51 while normal MCV & MCHC, does Ferritin 35 [4 - 204] indicate iron deficiency or haemolytic anemia ?
How to translate 9 x10^6/Litre RBC in urine microscopic analysis lab report to something like RBC/HPF .
Easier to Measure It: You would have to make some assumptions about the scope being used. Assuming that the scope being utilized gives you 2200 HPF/ml this would transplate into 4cells/hpf. ...Read more

Probably reactive: You are anemic and the numbers are suspicious for iron deficiency. If you are a healthy 34 year-old who menstruates regularly, you could easily be low in iron. The plaelet count is very high, but is likely reacting to the low iron and should come down if it is replaced. The elevated white cells (WBC) is not as easy to understand. Inflamation, infection, other? Could use more info. Good luck. ...Read more

My blood test results:
total bilirubin: 1.41 h
ast: 40 h
alt: 100 h
total alk phosphatase: 43 l
serum total protein: 7.1
e.R. Said hepatitis?
Let's try this...: I have only a little bit of the story you've shared. Perhaps it's time to see whether the ast and alt get back to normal after two weeks off alcohol and any not-totally-necessary meds you may be taking. If so, this is the start of a healthier life after alcohol. If not, the workup for virus infections, iron overload, wilson's, autoimmunity & need for exercise can begin. Good luck. ...Read more
High monocyte %, manual count in toddler. All other results on CBC normal, mono CT 16. Cause for concern?
Not necessarily: The monocytes are often up some in a variety of viral illnesses but less commonly than the lymphocytes. Infectious mononucleosis does occur in a muted ( less intense) form in toddlers & the usual mono blood test can be negative until months after the illness has passed. If the kid is cruising around enjoying life i would ignore the test & get back to living. ...Read more
Urine test results: urine blood 3+, urine protein trace. Are these normal, or should I be concerned? Currently being worked up for low h/h (7.2/27)
Follow advice: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, 3+ blood in urine and h/h of 7.2/27 are not normal. Make sure to follow your doctor's advice about tests and treatments. ...Read more
I got a blood test done and the results reflect the following: TSH .328, HDL 32, triglycerides 215, alkaline 23, and blood sugar 107. What you think?
More information: Why were the tests done? Was specimen drawn after an overnight fast? If so the triglycerides are high and so is the blood sugar. Hdl is low. None of the findings are diagnostic of a disease, except, that blood sugar suggests a pre-diabetic state. It is best to discuss the results and treatment with the doctor who ordered the tests. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers

Urine dipstick negative for UTI. 100.2 fever. Pressure in pelvic area when done peeing. What's wrong with me?
What does this indicate a pco2 arterial of 24, pH 7.49, co2 whole blood 18.8, o2 sat. 98.4 all from a blood gas
Lab data: The pc02 is low suggesting that you are blowing off carbon dioxide at an excessive rate, perhaps from hyperventilation. The p02 is normal, and the the total c02 is the sum of hco3? and pco2 by the formula: tco2 = [hco3?] + ?*pco2, where ?=0.226 mm/kpa, hco3? is expressed in millimolar concentration (mm) (mmol/l) and pco2 is expressed in kpa. 18.8 is low.
