Call doc or ER: You do not say how old your kid is, or if any other symptoms. I am concerned when you say brown vesicles all over. You : You should visit your primary care provider or an allergist to have allergy skin or blood testing done. In the meantime try benadryl, (diphenhydramine) if that works then you can be more confident that it is allergy related. Also consider new lotions, detergents or soaps that you may be using. Depends: You should treat the symptoms with a mild topical steroid and see if that helps. If this is really one-sided then this may be a sun-sensitivity problem, meaning something other than a sunburn. The change in skin tone may even out with time.
