If you have a HIV rash does one red pus bump comes one at a time at different days?

HIV rashes: Hi this sounds like two different issues from your question. But, remember there are lots of rashes with viral illness. There are lots of rashes from other exposures and possible infections. The most dangerous rash in this scenario would be one caused by syphilis. Syphilis and HIV seem to go hand in hand these days. I have rashes/acnes with white liquid (pus?) which can be easily popped on my chest and neck which appeared a week after taking doxycycline for an UTI

Little cut on leg no pus but rash with little bumps around it?

Using neosporin?: If you are using neosporin on your cut, you are likely having some allergic reaction to the neosporin--a very commom, yet overlooked condition. I would stop that, keep the skn/wpund dry with a little rubbing alcohol 3-4x/day for a few days and you should be good. If not better, call your doc. Good luck. ...Read more

Prescribed steroid cream for my rash. Didn't realize until after applying, it had pus oozing from it. I wiped it off and applied peroxide. Is this ok?

Prescribed steroid cream for my rash. Didn't realize until after applying, it had pus oozing from it. I wiped it off and applied peroxide. Is this ok?

Pus oozing rash: It depends on the cause of your rash. If you were given the steroid to help treat a skin irritant like posien Ivy, then the oozing is not infectious and the peroxide was not helpful. If on the other hand the rash got infected, it would be red, warm, tender and may ooze, then yes, peroxide and triple topical antibiotic like neosporin would be helpful. If so, you should contact your doc. ...Read more

A doctor may want to look at the rash a few times to figure things out. It helps to see the rash when it starts, when it is at its worse, and after it has resolved. ...Read more
