Rash Over Thyroid
Hyperthyroidism: There are no food that reverse hyperthyroidism or make it worse.
Have rash over thyroid. Once only appeared after hot bath, but now is constant. Related to hypothyroidism?
I have a numerous thyroid nodules, benign in 2009. My TSH is extremely low, not on meds. Why this rash over my thyroid & occasional dizziness?
Can thyroid disease cause rashes? I have one on my neck. I've tried everything I could think of it won't go away. I do take meds for thyroid disease.
Thyroid/rash: It should not. Send a picture of the rash to better help you.
How can I test myself for thyroid disease at home. I had hairloss that is not patchy and pink-red rashes that is itchy. Is it related to thyroid?
Thyroid: You cannot test yourself. You must see your doctor!
I'm starting to have rashes on my neck, where my thyroid goiter is, it's very painful and itchy, what cream can I use?
See a dermatologist: It is difficult to make a proper diagnosis since I am not there to see the condition. I recommend seeing a dermatologist so that they can make a proper diagnosis and give you something to get rid of the condition or relieve symptoms.
I'm diagnosed w/ low vit. D. Was given Synergy Vita-D 1000iu. After a week I started having rashes on my face & neck. Could it be the Vit. D causing it?
Not Vit D but...: Vitamin D is a hormone our body produces and can't possibly cause rashes. However, supplements have other ingredients. I wasn't able to find the other ingredients in Synergy Vita-D but it's possible you are reacting to one of the other things in it. It could be a coincidence but it's reasonable to try a different brand. Most adults need 4-8000 iu/day in fall/winter. See http://tinyurl. Com/2chkcer
Anxiety Rash: It's not the anxiety itself that causes a rash, but the stress caused by anxiety. Stress puts your body in a state of extreme tension, and releases a great deal of cortisol and adrenaline into your blood stream – both of which are known to lead to skin reactions. Try to take deep breathes, drink plenty of water, and do some activities that relive stress. Hope this helped :].
What to do if I have a 4weeks old daughter and she developed rashes on her fece and neck for a week?
Many possibilities: There are many things that could cause a skin rash. Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, sun exposure, insect bites, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.
What to do if I have red rashes developing on my neck. At first they don't itch. Can anyone tell me what it might be?
Need exam to know.: Visualization of lesion with complete history would be necessary to try to answer this with any accuracy. Take care.
One picture...: Hi Elizabeth242 A good dermatologist could probably give you many answers, but only after many questions or a in person exam. You might try one of the on algorithm's on line (e.g., http://acep. Omnibooksonline. Com/Boston2009/data/papers/TH-267.pdf) or schedule time on line with a video connection.
Could be acne..: Acne can take different forms, especially on the back and chest. There are some great creams that can help, and even some oral antibiotics may be appropriate. To help in the meantime, try to avoid synthetic fiber shirts, always shower immediately after working out and sweating and avoid scented or perfumed soaps. But talk with your doc if it's not improving. Hope this helps!
Rashes: Dermatologist can help, since you need to have it looked at.
Multiple agents: Rashes can occur due to irritation from soaps. Certain material in the clothes you wear or infection from fungus etc. It can also occur due to other causes. See your PCP that can help identify possible causes and give you some relief. Best wishes Dr M
