A rash like that may not be anything bad... but you have tried two modalities of treatment with no results. It is good to see a doctor who will identify the rash and treat it appropriately. Sometimes it could be an allergic rash and needs a different way to address that.

Could be yeast: An itchy red rash sounds like it could be a yeast infection. You can get yeast infections on your skin, in fact they are quite common. You can try some over the counter antifungal cream (clotrimazole would be an example) and see if that alleviates. Otherwise, if that doesn't work, consider some Hydrocortisone cream.
