What works against the rash on the bridge of my nose?

Itchy?

Epiglottitis
How long has it been there? Does it also affect your cheeks? A topical cortisone may help but if it does not, you will need to consult your doctor because it can be something serious.

Lupus in the skin can take many forms. What you are describing sound convincing for a variation of skin lupus. I would see a dermatologist who can confirm this for you and help in clearing up the skin and giving you guidance on maintenance of you skin's health.

Dr. Monib Zirvi answered:

How 2 tell difference between sunburn &butterfly rash?I have CTD.Got burn on upper cheeks &bridge of nose on cloudy day &ALL sunny days.Fades in 2days

Peeling

Head-cheek
The rash from a sunburn tends to peel and flake and heal relatively quickly whereas the butterfly rash of autoimmune conditions such as lupus tends to involve the cheeks primarily and last a long time. There is also a significant delay in onset of the rash after sun exposure which may be many days or weeks. Wearing hats and using sunscreen such as Anthelios is recommended to prevent both issues.

Dr. G J. Funari answered:

Sinuses free but pain on bridge of nose and under eyes can barely touch my nose skin tight on bridge of nose lots of pain

Not

Not enough information without an exam to fully answer your question. What do you mean that your sinuses are "free"? Do you have nasal congestion? Did you have an injury to your nose? Are your eyes involved in any way? There are multiple sinuses in your skull, above the nose and eyes, below the eyes, and between the eyes. They all drain into the nose. Any one or more of these sinuses can be affected with either sinusitis or an infection leading to pain and tenderness to touch. I recommend that you schedule an appointment with your physician for evaluation.
