Possobly hives: If the itchy bumps go away in 24 hrs, and then come back; or they have an appearance of " moving around", they are probably hives. Not sure what it is.: Bed bug bites may have no sx's/signs except for 2 small skin puncture points. A reaction may show from an hr to several days later. Prurititis: Itchiness with a rash is termed pruritis and can occur for no systemic reason at all. First attempt to treat it with an over-the-counter antihistamine such as zyrtec (cetirizine) (no decongestant needed) to see if taken regularly, your itching improves. Needs an evaluation: There are a lot of reasons to be very itchy, from scabies infestation to eczema to liver or kidney disease. Each one needs different treatments so you need to get evaluated by your physician asap. In the meantime, use gentle cleansers on the skin and moisturize at least twice daily to keep the skin calm.
