No, not safe: One day of use will not harm him but this is too strong of a steroid cream to use on a 3 month old. Why do my 2 months old have a rash on his chest, face, behind the ears? I used aveeno (oatmeal) moisturizer his face and it healed then keep coming back again.
This sounds like: It could be eczema. You should have him seen by his pediatrician or a pediatric dermatologist, to be sure and get the proper treatment. At his age, you don't want to be treating him with unnecessary or incorrect medications. If it is eczema, it could be precipitated by something in his environment, such as his formula, or if breastfed, something in your diet, or a detergent or soap. ...Read more

Is it normal for a 6 week old baby to have little rashes all over their face, ears, neck, and half of chest?
Common, not normal: Babies will have many episodes of illness and rashes, so these are quite common but not normal by 6 wks. If it is tiny/prickly little bumps (like-goose-bumps) and baby is acting normally, it is likely heat-rash. So, keep/dress baby comfortably and avoid excessive heat exposure. Check with doc for an eval to make sure. Congrats on new baby and good luck. ...Read more

Age of baby?: I do not see the age of baby here, but I don't think it is related to breastmilk or storage per se. Some colds can be associated with a rash. If he is several months old, could possibly be baby acne. Hard to say without a visual and more history. Might could solve this during a Prime Visit with some photos!
