A rash that covers most of your body can be due to a variety of causes including: 1. Infection 2. Drug allergy 3. Allergy to contact exposure such as detergent, poison ivy, soap 4. Hives due to a variety of causes 5. Bug bites - e.g.Scabies the palms and soles may be spared due to the thickness of the skin in these areas. A rash may be present under the skin that is not visible in these regions.

Yes: The area around the bottom and upper legs is a common additional site of hfm, it just didn't make it to the label when the pattern was being named. If that's the only site and there are no blisters it could be something else. Te variability of hfm is quite diverse, with some having only one area involved. ...Read more

Probably unrelated: You may possibly have contracted scabies from the contact but there are also other potential causes unrelated to the sexual contact. See a doctor if this has been presented for more than 3 days or been getting worse. ...Read more
