Please Could you list all STDs to get tested after 7 years of sexual exposure? I want to ensure about STDs because I'm going to get marry
Only a few...: Have a urine test for gonorrhea and chlamydia and blood tests for HIV and syphilis. You could consider a blood test for herpes, but if so, have only an IgG test for HSV2, not an IgM test, which often is misleading. Nothing else is necessary. Best wishes for a romantic, rewarding, and successful marriage! ...Read more
Chlamydia: Lgv is a type of chlamydia. It isn't common, but is being seen in some groups, especially gay men, in whom it can cause severe proctitis (anorectal infection). Chlamydia tests will pick up lgv, but you need specialized tests to tell you whether it's lgv or not. The difference is that you treat lgv with a 21-day course of doxycycline, which is what I would use in a gay man with proctitis. ...Read more

Possibly an HSV blood test, but not normally recommended unless symptoms suggest genital herpes. In India, you probably were vaccinated in childhood for hepatitis B; if not, have a test (and get vaccinated). Don't waste money on any others. ...Read more
After giving oral sex to a female, is it easy to get oral warts, hpv, STDs etc. All other docs on here said it was rare to get something. Please help!
I have white bumps that go away and reoccur on the inside of my cheeks. Any help? Is it an std? Can you get an STD in there besides HSV 1? Is it rare?
Probably not an STD: It does not sound like you have an std from the way you describe the condition. You may want to have dentist or oral surgeon look at the area in question. These spots could be a normal variant of sebaceous glands that are in skin but are called koplicks spots. The only way to know would be to have a dental professional check it out. ...Read more
Idry penis tip for a week. The skin is red around the tip and transition between tip and shaft. No other symptoms beside a itch rare. Could it be STD?
Need information: I am guessing that you haver a foreskin. Not STD. Balanitis is due to a tiny drop of urine under the foreskin. Smegma and other bacteria ferment the inspisated urine. The metabolic waste products of this fermentation is irritating. Be sure to blot away any last drop of urine after you empty your bladder. In the shower always rinse under the foreskin. I had a cold prior protected sex & afterwards, cough since. Is a month-long dry cough with rare productive clear, white mucus symptomatic of STD/HIV?
Not HIV or other STD: No STD causes cough, nasal congestion, or other cold symptoms. Neither does HIV. Acute HIV symptoms, when they occur, are sore throat, headache, muscle aches, inflamed lymph nodes, and rash -- but not cough, runny nose, sinus symptoms, etc. Almost certainly you just have a cold or allergy, not related to any sexual exposure (unless your partner also had a cold). No worries, no need for testing! ...Read more
