Had acid reflux since i was 12 (18 yrs) and only Zantac (ranitidine) has worked, no other otc. It no longer works, even at 150 mg 3-4x daily. Any other OTC sugg?

I am taking 40mg pantaloc twice daily while on anti inflammatories. Stomach still hurts. Can i take Zantac (ranitidine) with this how long before pantaloc works ?
Go see your doctor: Pantaloc is not a brand sold here in the states. By searching online, it appears to be a brand of pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (ppi) which is a very effective drug to control stomach acid. Zantac (ranitidine) is an h2 blocker which is a less effective means of decreasing stomach acid. You didn't mention how long you'd been taking pantaloc which usually works in a few days.
