Huh!: I don't understand your question. Surgical oncologists have completed a 5 year residency in surgery and a two year fellowship in surgical oncology. We are surgeons with special interest and experience in treating cancer. Most do not give chemotherapy. Medical oncologists typically start with internal medicine and then subspecialise. They give chemotherapy and other drugs but do not do surgery. ...Read more

Residents are physicians - they have an md or do degree & a limited license. They do treat patients but again are under the supervision & ultimate authority of a doctor that has completed training. Your question is offensive & arrogant. ...Read more

Best is relative.: Good medical schools and great doctors in every country. Generalizing possible, but misleading. Most medical education takes place during internship / residency. Best education is one that prepares you for practice in the society and culture you live in. Japanese schools are great for japanese physicians and likewise for the other countries. ...Read more
