Sporadic radiating pain from finger tips to wrists that on both sides of hand? Similar pain along top of feet, r side of the spine and in r groin/hip?
Multiple pain sites: Multiple sites of pain suggests a systemic disorder. Focal neurological problems are just that: focal. One side of the hand, one leg, for example. Causes to consider for multiple pain sites include infections, (like lyme) and inflammatory problems. Pain can arise from disorders of the skin as well, so always look for rash or other changes that would need further medical attention. ...Read more

My son hit my ankle with a toy, 7 hrs later I can't walk on it or touch it and it's radiating pain! Bruised bone maybe? Or possibly a break/fracture?

I have a radiating pain combined with numbness/tingling from hip to ankle caused by exercise. Will this improve or do I need medical atttention?
Sciatica: Sounds like you may have a nerve impingement in your lumbar spine region. Anti-inflammatories, stretching your hamstrings and lower back may alleviate your symptoms. Decrease impact activity too. If this doesn't help, or symptoms worsen, see an orthopedist or spine/pain management specialist. You might need an epidural. ...Read more
Lacerated toe. Infected, swollen, red, radiating pain. Now, urge to urinate often and rectal discharge/itching. Coincidence or infection spreading?
Sounds awful: That sounds like a nasty toe laceration, and if infected it should be looked at by a primary care or urgent care Dr. Who will see if it needs to be drained or consider antibiotics. A spreading infection can lead to fever, chills, spreading redness, fatigue then may lead to diarrhea, but what you're describing without the other symptoms I've mentioned is unlikely to be from a toe infection. ...Read more

Without: Without an xray and examination, it is very difficult to know for sure what you have done to your knee/leg. The most common possibilities include a fracture, ligament sprains or tears, cartilage tears, and a deep contusion/bruise to the bone/joint. You really should be evaluated as soon as possible by an orthopedic surgeon, or perhaps at least in a minor emergency room. In an er, xrays can be taken to evaluate for a broken bone. If it is more of a soft tissue injury, and if the diagnosis remains unclear after a physical exam by the physician, an MRI may be needed for additional information. ...Read more

Abscess?: I have a number of questions, including how long it has been there and whether it is getting bigger or more painful. It could be an abscess (red, warm, painful), or it could be an enlarged lymph node, which could itself be infected, or could be an indication of infection elsewhere. A health provider needs to look at it and see if it needs drainage, antibiotics, or other evaluation. ...Read more

5 CM paratubal cyst is causing radiating pain pain. Dr doesn't seem to think its an emergency situation. Why does this happen?
Laparoscopy: With ovarian cysts there is always a good chance that they resolve on their own and it may make sense to buy some time with pain medication.
