Try DMSO: DMSO (dimethylsulfoxide)--aka horse liniment--is available at a health food store or feed/veterinary supply. For systemic inflammatory conditions as you apparently have, I suggest one tsp per day orally. It tastes terrible. Mix with a small amount of water, and chase it with something else to kill the taste. Major adverse effect is that you will "off-gas" the DMSO in your breath and sweat. ...Read more

Any treatments/remedies for osteo arthritis in big toe joints?

Any treatments/remedies for osteo arthritis in big toe joints?

Hallux limitus: Arthritis of the great toe ( hallux) is very common and painful primarily due to the amount of pressure applied to this small joint with each step and the amount of pain free motion required to take a normal step. Pain here is frequently due to inflammation of the synovium, or joint lining, but just as commonly due to a broken spur. Ice, low heeled, stiff soled shoe is best. And see your doctor. ...Read more

Why pain after cortizone (hydrocortisone) injection. Mri says grade 2/3 sprain in both knee mcls, joint effusion, patella tilt &chrondomalica patella. Result of fall.
