Mgt: Your peak flow and continued symptoms indicate that your asthma control is not good. I would suggest continuing the QVAR and taking the asthma control test online at regular intervals. Not med: If the only time you have shortness of breath is when you walk up a flight of stairs, and not when exercising, and it resolves right away and is not associated with pain or coughing , i would presume you are still out of shape. It certainly is not the med( i was a pharmacist for20 years too), and does not sound like asthma or heart. ...Read more

Some of them, yes: If the medicines were helping sinus disease, then certainly stopping them might cause the symptoms to come back. I am not aware of an association with depression, though. You should talk with the prescriber about those symptoms, as they are probably unrelated and there are ways to effectively treat this! ...Read more
