Why ask this?: "High cholesterol" means little. WHAT ARE THE NUMBERS? Usually the DR cares only about the LDL. Current guidelines are for long term therapy with a statin such as simvastatin, but ezetimimbe is used much less today. If you know of someone with a sharp drop in cholesterol after 10 days, it might be from this med. But why was the test repeated so soon? EXACTLY what are the numbers? Why this med? ...Read more
